How do I find you?
Using the postcode, BH12 4AS, we are easy to find. Just off of the roundabout by Sainsbury's, following the road up, sign posted Alder Hills Ind Est, look for the big blue building called The Factory, it will be on your right hand side - you can't go too wrong, as the road is a no-through road.
Is there parking on site?
There is plenty of free parking at the front of the building and also some around the right hand side, which is ideal for unloading your equipment.
Is there a shutter for vehicles? How wide is the shutter?
There is a roller shutter for vehicle access. It is 2.5m wide. The access is narrow, but easily accessible.
Who do I call during the shoot if there is an issue?
Following your booking confirmation, you will be contacted by a member of the team who will also arrange to meet you on-site at the beginning of the shoot. They will ensure you have their contact number in the event you need to call them during the shoot.
How do I finish my session? Will someone be there to meet me?
At the end of the session, one of our team will be there to meet you. Should you wish to finish earlier or extend the booking, please ensure you call the studio. They will endeavour to adapt to your requirements.
Do you have studio members on hand to support my shoot?
In some circumstances, the team member can be available throughout the session, at an extra charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Do you have models I can use?
When you register with Dorset Photographic Services, you will also have access to a selection of our models affiliated with the studio. The models are free for you to contact, but any bookings made will be a contract between the model and the photographer - Dorset Photographic Services are not liable for these bookings.
Are there any outside shooting areas?
Outside is quite industrial, being on an industrial estate, therefore, it is quiet but there are some fantastic backdrops such as containers and scaffolding.
If using your commercial photography services, how long will it be before I receive my images from the time of the shoot?
This is dependant on the quantity of shoots required and the level of editing required. Typically, your images are provided to you in PNG and JPEG format within a maximum of 2 weeks of the studio shoot.
Can I arrange commercial photography services on a location shoot?
Yes, we have carried out many on-location shoot and will be thrilled to be able to support your requirements. Please contact us to discuss on-location bookings.
Can I come and see the studio before arranging a booking?
Certainly, we welcome clients and would love the opportunity to show you around, but please ensure you email us to arrange a time, as we cannot guarantee someone will be available on site.
